Oh, there’s no place like home for the holidays… I don’t know about you guys, but during these cold, wet days of winter, there’s nothing better than snuggling up at home by a nice warm fire, binging tv (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Shameless, Big Little Lies, Wormwood, The Crown) and smelling a fresh Fraser fir.
So it won’t be hard to imagine what my entire month of December has consisted of so far. By far, my mom and I are the two Christmas nuts in our family. We’ve decorated the house to the nines, ornaments (a good amount of them food related!) bursting from our trees.
When we get slightly tired of snuggling, or we’re graced with a fresh snow fall, we’ll begrudingly leave the couch for a little walk outside.
One of my goals for 2018 is to take some flower arranging classes, I find arranging so relaxing. I tried my hand at a few little ones to decorate our holiday brunch tables.
There are so many things to love about this time of year, and being at home with my family is one of them. Oh, and excessive Christmas decorations don’t hurt either.
