Lacco Ameno, Ischia, Italy

You know what was the most wonderful thing about being on Ischia? I did not come across a SINGLE other American. Not a single one! I’m sure we were not the only American on-island, but it did feel that way sometimes, especially because we stayed in the smallest of the islands six communes, Lacco Ameno. Jer is a boat guy, so he particularly liked late dinners on our terrace with sailboats in and out of harbor as his backdrop.
