Procida, Italy

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start with how much I adore the teeny little island of Procida. It’s incredible how the island can pack so much charm into less than 2 square miles.

The classic view is from the Santa Margherita Nuova down over the pastel homes of Marina Corricella. There’s also a piazza on the way down to Corricella called Piazza Dei Martiri that stood in as the town center of Mongibello in (one of my favorite movies of all time) The Talented Mr. Ripley.

We also had one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in all of Italy (!!!) at La Conchiglia, after spending the day flittering in and out of the sea framed by the black volcanic sand of Spiaggia della Chiaia. The walk down and back up the stairs is well worth it!
